Songs such as "A Fool in Love" and "Nutbush City Limits" made her famous together with her husband Ike Turner. After the separation and the end of the joint Ike & Tina Turner Revue, Tina Turner succeeded in climbing the musical Olympus as a solo artist. With hits such as "What's Love Got To Do With It", "Typical Male", "Addicted To Love" and many others, she became the "Queen of Rock'n'Roll" and one of the most successful female singers in the world.

The Soul of Tina is a musical tribute to a great artist. This tribute show presents the best of over 50 years of Tina Turner - from the beginnings of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue with songs such as "River Deep Mountain High" and "Proud Mary", to her unforgettable solo hits such as "Simply The Best" and "Private Dancer"! Singer Tess D. Smith, who rose to fame as a front act for "The Commodores", brings the greatest hits of an extraordinary and strong woman to the stage - authentically, with fiery passion and an explosive live performance.

For many years, Tess D. Smith has been thrilling audiences with her irrepressible temperament and unique grating voice. The entertainer began her career in the Philippines as a dancer and choreographer for major musical and television shows. However, when her singing talent was discovered, she became the front act for "The Commoderes" on their "Nightshift Asia Tour" and from then on traveled the globe with the band as a singer and dancer. Tess D. Smith is at home in many genres, whether pop, rock, soul or R'n'B and has already performed on stage with stars such as Janet Jackson, Xavier Naidoo and Uwe Ochsenknecht.
