Umberto Tozzi - The Final Tour
Italy's pop icon Umberto Tozzi is embarking on his last major tour: "L'ULTIMA Notte rosa - The Final Show". After more than 50 years of global hits, sold-out concerts and unforgettable moments, the singer and songwriter is bidding farewell with a series of selected concerts - including an exclusive performance in Switzerland.
Umberto Tozzi made music history with evergreens such as "Ti Amo", "Gloria", "Gente di mare" and "Donna amante mia". His songs have shaped generations, been covered in countless languages and found their place in international film classics such as Flashdance, The Wolf of Wall Street, Gloria Bell, Spider-Man: Far From Home and the hit series House of Money.
His career reads like a chapter in European pop history: in 1977, "Ti Amo" catapulted him to the top of the charts and made him a star far beyond Italy. This was followed in 1982 by "Gloria", which became a worldwide hit thanks to Laura Branigan's English version - for 36 weeks in the US Billboard charts. In 1987, Tozzi won the Sanremo Festival with Gianni Morandi and Enrico Ruggeri, followed by third place at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 with "Gente di Mare".
Tozzi also remained creative in his final creative phase: a new version of "Donna amante mia", recorded with Giuliano Sangiorgi, singer and founder of the band Negramaro, was released for the tour. The new recording was produced by Sangiorgi and has been available on all digital platforms since March 2024.
After stops in Italy, France, Germany and Eastern Europe, the big Swiss concert will follow in the fall before Umberto Tozzi continues his farewell tour in Canada, the USA, Australia and other European countries in 2025. An evening full of emotion, nostalgia and great Italian music - for all fans who want to experience the magic of songs such as "Ti Amo" and "Gloria" live once again.
